A Maryland State Police helicopter is helping with the search by shining spotlights down into the water. In an update made on X at 6:20 p.m., DCFD said the rescue turned into a "recovery operation" after divers searched for the man for 90 minutes. DCFD said land-based units are heading in to help with the search along with MPD's harbor vessels and fireboats that continue to assist with the recovery efforts.
