According to a criminal complaint, police said Morgan got into an altercation with a group outside of Revel Entertainment Center. Police said Morgan punched a man in the group then pulled out a gun and began shooting at a car passing by. If the name Anthony Morgan sounds familiar, then you may remember an old headline of his. In 2019, police arrested Morgan after they said he used his motorcycle to vandalize a rainbow crosswalk in Nob Hill. After videos of the incident spread on social media, Morgan took to Facebook to apologize. A GoFundMe then launched trying to get money to cover his attorney fees. The page said he was not trying to offend the LGBTQ community but rather was protesting the use of $30,000 of taxpayer money on special crosswalks without a vote. Since then, Morgan has racked up charges of DWI and aggravated assault. For this latest shooting incident, Morgan is charged with aggravated battery, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and shooting at a car. He is scheduled to be back in court on December 4.
