Another storm clips New Mexico Tuesday, bringing more wind and colder temperatures. Our weather will start a warming trend Wednesday. Windier weather moved in Monday after a late weekend storm, with wind gusts over 40 mph across parts of the state. Temperatures were a little warmer across the state today too, but that will be changing Tuesday. Another storm will clip northeast New Mexico Tuesday afternoon. This will bring back breezy to locally windy conditions once again, but the biggest impact will be the colder air it will draw down. High temperatures Tuesday will sit around 10° below average across the state. This storm won't bring much in terms of moisture, in fact the only place that could squeeze any moisture out of this storm will be a few flurries across the peaks of the northern mountains. Winds die down Tuesday night, but some of the coldest air of the season moves in to start the day Wednesday. A warming trend starts Wednesday afternoon. This will continue through Saturday. Calmer and dry weather will also stick around during this period.
