Pack a shoebox, change a life: Operation Christmas Child brings joy to Green Bay

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - As Thanksgiving approaches, families across Green Bay are embracing the season of gratitude by participating in Operation Christmas Child, a project dedicated to bringing hope to children.
An official press release from Operation Christmas Child in Green Bay, says they hope to reach 12 million children, adding to the 220 million shoeboxes delivered since the the program started in 1993.

In Green Bay, Highland Crest Church is the local drop-off center for shoeboxes. The statement says participants may bring packed boxes to this location or another nearby site anytime during National Collection Week. From November 18 to 25, you can join others in packing shoeboxes with toys, school supplies, and personal care items
Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, partnering with churches to share reminders of hope and love with children in need.
