BURKE COUNTY, N.C. — Deputies say a 27-year-old man has been arrested and charged for setting school buses on fire at a local elementary school. The Burke County Sheriff’s Office said on Sunday at 12:19 a.m., deputies were called to Icard Elementary School, to investigate two school buses that had been seen set on fire. Officials said an area connected to the school had also been burned. After reviewing surveillance video, deputies say they identified 27-year-old Devin Clark as the suspect. Warrants were issued for Clark for two counts of Felony Burning of Personal Property and Felony Burning of a School House. Around 3:40 a.m., Clark was taken into custody at his home. He was given a $75,000 bond.
