SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — It was a cold start to the week as overnight lows in San Diego County dropped to near record levels the last few mornings. On Sunday, Vista bottomed out at 36 degrees, beating the previous record for this time of year of 38 degrees set in 2015. The next morning, Ramona tied its lowest minimum temperature record for Nov. 17 at 28 degrees. Monday is expected to see a brief onshore flow with westerly winds becoming stronger for the mountains in particular heading into the afternoon. (National Weather Service) A few low to mid-level clouds across coastal areas will linger Monday afternoon, but the rest of the week is looking mostly sunny thanks to the shift to offshore flow. That will push away any cloud cover. Into Tuesday, a weak Santa Ana pattern will warm up the county a bit, where it will stay through the end of the work week. Thursday and Friday are likely to be the warmest days this week. Temperatures for Tuesday afternoon will hit the upper 60ss for the coast, mid to upper 60s inland, upper 40s for the mountains and low 70s for the deserts.  Gusty east to northeast winds are also expected to develop along the mountain slopes on Tuesday, with individual gusts reaching upwards of 35 miles per hour.
