(KRON) – More than 5,000 people are without power on Monday near Berkeley, according to Pacific Gas & Electric Company.
The outage is primarily near the Tilden Nature Area and the Charles Lee Tilden Regional Park. Residents can view the exact location of the power outage on Pacific Gas & Electric’s website.

Calls grow for San Mateo County sheriff to resign
A spokesperson for PG&E told KRON4, "The outage you called about started just before 1:45 pm and is impacting close to 5,000 customers. We are working to restore power, safely and as quickly as possible."
According to PGE, there is not an estimated time of restoration.
