(KRON) – A ghost gun and narcotics were uncovered in a vehicle search, according to the Redwood City Police Department.  On Oct. 25, while patrolling, Redwood City police officers made contact with a male suspect sitting in a sedan on the 100 block of Laurel Street. Image provided by the Redwood City Police Department Suspect shot by San Jose police, in critical condition Police said they saw narcotics “in plain view near the center console.” The sight of narcotics prompted a vehicle search, which yielded additional narcotics, drug paraphernalia, and a loaded and unserialized Polymer 80 handgun, according to police.  The driver was arrested and booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility for firearm-related charges and multiple drug-related charges.
