ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – An effort to make downtown brighter and more colorful is coming back. The city's Art and Culture Department will launch "City Brights Two" next month.
Students help beautify downtown Albuquerque
Artists will install 11 temporary light displays on businesses and city properties. Installations include architectural lighting interventions, lighted sculptures, digital projections, and more. All pieces will be viewable from downtown sidewalks.
The work will be on display throughout the winter months. The last City Brights project was in 2019.
