The National Park Service says Valles Caldera will retain 100% of the fees collected. Those funds will be used on projects including road, trail and trailhead improvements. The fee covers seven consecutive days of entrance to Valles Caldera. Fees will run $25 per vehicle, $15 per person and $20 per motorcycle. There will also be a $45 annual pass specific to Valles Caldera. Entrance fees were first suspended in 2017. The National Park Service says the suspension was due to lack of services available in the National Park Unit at that time.
