WEATHER ALERT: Elevated fire risk continues. Dry weather will continue through the first half of the week. Please, no outdoor burning and be careful how you discard smoking materials.
Good Evening:
Dry weather continues next few days, followed by some much needed rain arriving by Thursday. The potential is there for 0.50 to 0.75" of rain .
However, the very dry conditions persist here in Southern New England. As a result, we continue to have an elevated fire risk. Please, no outoor burning.
NOVEMBER RAIN CHECK SO FAR.....
Since November 1st only 1/10th of an inch of rain. That is -2.17" below average for November so far.

We'll be able to see the International Space Station this evening. It won't be as high in the sky as Sunday evening but still a good pass.

Another sunny dry day Tuesday with temperatures a bit cooler. Afternoon highs in the mid to upper 50s.

Wednesday will be dry with mainly sunny skies. Some long overdue rain ahead for Thursday
A slow-moving frontal system will be working across our area on Thursday, along with some gusty winds.
A model comparison shows at least 0.3" of rain to as much as 0.7" around the region. It's possible that we could get a little more. Stay tuned!
