INDIANAPOLIS — A shooting on the east side of Indianapolis left a person in critical condition Monday night. According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the 8700 block of East Washington Street on a report of a person shot. When police arrived at the scene, they located a victim with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds. IMPD initially reported that the victim had died.
