YADKIN COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) -- A woman died on Monday after a multi-vehicle crash in Yadkin County, according to a North Carolina State Highway Patrol news release. Around 8:22 a.m., troopers responded to and investigated a fatal crash in Yadkin County on NC 67 near East Bend Road involving three cars.  A 2003 Honda CRV crossed the centerline on NC 67 and hit a 1997 Dodge Ram truck. The Ram then spun around in the road and hit a 2007 Toyota Avalon.  It was confirmed that the driver of the CRV had a medical condition causing her to cross left of center and hit the Ram head-on. The driver of the CRV, Teresa Barker, 61, of Yadkin County, died at the scene.  The driver of the Ram and the driver of the Avalon were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. NC 67 was shut down for around an hour.
