A big change is then on the way, beginning on Wednesday. High temperatures will drop into the upper 40s and we'll see some rain showers along a front. It is possible some snowflakes mix with the rain here, but the confidence is on the low side. It will also turn very windy as this front moves in, as we'll experience occasional gusts up to 40 mph at times. Behind this front, we'll see a low pressure system meander its way down into the area on Thursday and drag down plenty of cold air with it. Rain and snow is likely on Thursday, along with strong wind gusts up to 45 mph. Some snow could even accumulate, mainly in grassy areas, so stay tuned for updates on this. It will be very chilly outside, with high temperatures only in the mid-to-upper 30s and it will feel even colder with the wind gusts that we anticipate. Brr!
