EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A person stole a UTEP vehicle Monday morning, Nov. 18, from the campus, according to a UTEP spokesperson and video shared by a KTSM viewer.
The video shows what a person with a backpack climbing into the vehicle, hitting another vehicle while backing out and taking off.
The spokesperson says the vehicle was recovered later that day.
The university did not say who stole the vehicle or what action it's taken against the person if any.
"The investigation is ongoing; no further information is available at this time," UTEP said.
