EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Socorro ISD's (SISD) Vista Del Sol Environmental Science Academy students and their families participated in the school's turkey trot Monday morning, Nov. 18. The event was an opportunity for students and their families to walk or run together to be active, according to SISD. The school also hosted a raffle at each grade level, giving families a chance to win a frozen turkey to take home. Elev8 Gym, EP Dentistry for Kids, and Craze were also at the event. El Paso Community College also offered hands-on CPR training, according to SISD.
