Police have arrested a man who they say intentionally showed young children on the Santa Monica pier nude photographs of himself. Benjamin Bush, 46, was arrested late October following an "intensive investigation by detectives," according to a news release from the Santa Monica Police Department. On the evening of Sept. 18, Bush allegedly showed a nude photograph of himself to three 9-year-old children outside of Pacific Park on the Santa Monica pier. He was also seen showing the same image to another child inside the nearby arcade. Santa Monica police began investigating the incident and were able to identify Bush as the alleged suspect weeks later. He's since been arrested and faces charges for child annoyance and distributing harmful material to a minor. The investigation remains ongoing and police are asking the public for help identifying any additional incidents. In a statement provided to KTLA Thursday evening, CDCR officials said Bush, who had been working at the prison since January 2020, has been on administrative leave since his arrest in October.
