BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- A diver has announced another attempt at locating the nurse whose SUV was found submerged in the Kern River over the summer. Christina Murphy's wrecked Toyota 4 Runner was pulled from the river off westbound Highway 178 in Lake Isabella in September. Murphy was reported missing July 22. 2 killed in car crashes following deadly weekend on the streets of Bakersfield The Kern County Sheriff's Office located Murphy's SUV the next day, but conditions were too dangerous for recovery. The group Adventures with a Purpose went viral after diving into the river and filming Murphy's SUV and posted it to YouTube.
