A female pedestrian was struck by a Metra train Monday morning in north suburban Lake Forest, causing "extensive" service delays.Around 8:55 a.m., outbound train No. 2107 on the Milwaukee North Line struck the pedestrian near the Lake Forest station, 911 Telegraph Rd., Metra officials said.
