FAIRVIEW (KSNT) - A 76-year-old man died near Fairview after a rollover crash.
At 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, the 76-year-old was driving a 2013 Kia Sorento east on U36. For an unknown reason, the driver left the roadway to the north. The vehicle went into the eastbound ditch, hitting a highway sign and then striking Goldfinch road. The car rolled multiple times, ejecting the driver, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol crash log.
The 76-year-old man was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead and his next of kin was notified. The man wasn't wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, according to the KHP.
