STATESBORO, Ga. (WSAV) - Statesboro police are investigating a dispute that led to one individual being shot. On Nov. 17, Statesboro officers responded to the first block of Bobby Donaldson Avenue around 8:00 p.m. for a gunshot detection by Flock’s Raven sensors. While officers were responding, a call was placed by a third party reporting an adult male shot at that location. Once on the scene, officers discovered a male victim with a gunshot wound to the torso. The victim was transported by EMS to a local hospital and is expected to recover. Detectives believe the dispute was personal between the victim and the suspect.
