PLAINVILLE, Mass. (WLNE) — Crews are working to extinguish a fire on Messenger Street in Plainville. Calls came just after 5 a.m. Monday for a fire that broke out in the basement at Village Green Apartments. Residents have been evacuated from the building and one person had to be rescued by personnel, but there were no injuries.
