Dry Start to the Week
Nov 18, 2024
A morning cold front will bring clouds to start off the workweek. While there is a chance it could also bring a shower or two, they will be fast-moving and have little to no impact. We will clear to mostly sunny skies and a northwesterly breeze takes hold for most of the day. As a result of this new dry pool of air moving in, plenty of available dry leaves on the ground and gusty breezes, we once again have an elevated fire weather risk for today. This is issued when the risk for brush fires is elevated and any outdoor burning is strongly discouraged. Monday will be warmer than average too, with highs in the lower-60s. Expect clear skies overnight tonight with cool lows in the upper-30s. Tuesday will be sun-filled and a bit cooler with highs in the mid to upper-50s. Wednesday will be sunny and seasonable as well. Thursday looks like the rainy day we have needed. Expect cloudiness and a 90% chance of rain and highs in the lower-50s. Friday has a 50% chance of rain and highs in the upper-40s.
