MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Two men stole alcoholic beverages and caused damage to a Southeast Memphis liquor store, totaling $50,000 last week, Memphis Police say. On November 15 around 5:12 a.m., officers say they were called to Alex’s Discount Liquor at 5933 East Shelby Drive regarding a burglary. Police say two unknown men were caught on camera breaking into the business through a hole in the back that had been torn open. The men were seen taking various brands of alcoholic beverages. Second man arrested in connection to stereo store burglary The first suspect was described as an unknown male with a flashlight wearing a dark face mask, gloves, a black hoodie with words and graphics on the front and letters on the back, dark pants, and light shoes.
