CLINTON, N.C. (WNCN) — A raid at a Sampson County home linked to 20 separate car thefts across eight North Carolina counties led to the recovery of at least two luxury vehicles and the arrest of a Faison man on several charges, according to deputies.
Detectives obtained a search warrant for a home on Jackson Lane in Turkey after they saw a stolen car at the property, according to a Saturday news release from the Sampson County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies said they believed the suspect might be armed so the Sheriff’s Emergency Response Team executed the warrant on Friday, Nov. 8 and raided the location.
During the search, deputies found two vehicles stolen from car dealerships in Raleigh and Pitt County, the news release said. Another vehicle stolen from Pitt County was found in Newton Grove the next day.
