(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A cold front is expected to quickly move south across the Pikes Peak Region during the Tuesday morning commute. That front is going to time with the arrival of an upper-level wave that is likely to produce some scattered snow showers.
While for some areas it may not be too much of an issue, it's possible that some embedded convection, the same process that produces thunderstorms, produces some heavier snow bursts that reduce visibility and produce some quick accumulation of snow.
Make sure to download the FOX21 Storm Team App (Apple - Google Play) and we will send you a digital door knock if the bursts materialize and are moving toward your location.
