BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) -- One law firm in Louisiana is giving away nearly 500 bikes this December. Gordon McKernan Law Firm aims to give away 488 bikes to kids across Louisiana this holiday. About 130 20-inch bikes will be raffled off in the Capital Region. "It's one of our favorite events every year and we start gearing up for it in July," said Joe Gipson, chief operations officer. Gipson says this event is a way of giving back to local communities. Winners will also be announced in Lake Charles, Lafayette, Alexandria, Shreveport, Monroe and Hammond. "It's so exciting and so fulfilling when you get to see every person come through and get that bike in their hand," said Gipson. Baton Rouge winners can pick up bikes from 12:30-2:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13 at the office on Hilton Avenue. Click here to register online. The deadline is Dec. 8 for Baton Rouge and Hammond.
