The Thanksgiving Day holiday falls on Thursday, Nov. 28, this year. A few popular restaurants in the area will be open on Turkey Day and serving holiday meals. Reservations are encouraged for some places. Menu items include soups; salads; must-have entrees like turkey, ham and fish; and classic sides like mashed potatoes, casseroles and mac and cheese. Here are some Baton Rouge restaurants that will be open on Thanksgiving Day. Turkey and ham are on the menu, along with sides like parmesan mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole and green bean casserole. The cost will be $34 per person. Make a reservation online. Burger King Hours vary by franchised location during the holidays, according to the company. People can confirm hours of operation at local Burger Kings or by using the app. Cracker Barrel Cracker Barrel will be open on Thanksgiving Day. Little Village - Airline The Airline location will be open on Thanksgiving from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. while the downtown location will be closed, according to the owner.
