The Geauga Park District announced that scouts and scout leaders can register now for the Scout Snowshoe Call List to be alerted when weather conditions are just right. Register at www.geaugaparkdistrict.org under Programs & Event filtered by program type Scouts, according to a news release. These pop-up, naturalist-led snowshoe outings take place any time, day or evening, at any Geauga Park District park depending on snow conditions. Upon being contacted, people then have the opportunity to sign up, with space limited by the number of snowshoes available though people also can bring their own. Registering for the call list does not commit people to attend any of the pop-up programs, it just provides anb opportunity to come along if desired, the release stated. Adult leaders must also attend with participating scouts.
