1 injured after overnight shootings in Fox Meadows, Frayser

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- At least one person is injured after overnight shootings at a gas station in the Fox Meadows area and an apartment complex in Frayser.
According to Memphis Police, just before 3 a.m., officers responded to the first shooting at the Marathon Gas Station at 3156 South Mendenhall Road.

The store clerk says the victim was found shot in the leg on the side of the gas station before being taken to the hospital for treatment.
There is also no suspect information available. But this is still an ongoing investigation.

MPD is also investigating another shooting at an apartment complex in Frayser.
Officers say they were called to the Ridgecrest Apartments at 2570 Woodcliff Drive around 3:50 a.m. It is unclear if anyone was shot or if the person who pulled the trigger is in custody.
