SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR) -- After dropping two straight games to Saint Joseph's and Maryland, the Orange bounced back on Sunday beating FDU 77-58.
The Orange came out strong outscoring the Knights 25-16 in the first quarter and went into halftime up 40-30. Syracuse put up another impressive third quarter outscoring FDU by 12.
Syracuse shot 48% from the field, but went 8-21 from beyond the arc. Kyra Wood led SU with 12 points Izabel Varejão and Sophie Burrows also finished with double digits.
Next up for Syracuse, they host UAlbany on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
