Train strikes abandoned vehicle in Suffolk, no injuries reported

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) -- A train hit an unoccupied vehicle early Sunday morning near the area of Beech Street. Norfolk Southern Railroad responded to the crash, which occurred at around 1:20 a.m. The vehicle was abandoned by the driver and left on the train tracks. There were no injuries reported.
