GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - The Green Bay Police Department has released a statement following the arrest of a 32-year-old man after a verbal disturbance and standoff occurred at the Tower Motel. The release states that officers were called to the scene after witnesses heard yelling between the suspect and other people outside of the motel. Large police presence at Tower Motel in Green Bay Police on the scene were told the suspect was making threats of violence with a knife and then went into his motel room with another person. GBPD SWAT and Crisis Negotiation responded to assist in a peaceful surrender. No injuries were reported and the suspect was taken into custody. No further details have been released from GBPD at this time.
