AUSTIN (KXAN) — No. 4 Texas dominated the offensive glass and forced 25 turnovers to blow out DePaul 91-61 in NCAA women's basketball action Sunday in Chicago, Illinois. Taylor Jones posted a double-double scoring 22 points on 10 of 13 shooting with 12 rebounds, nine offensive, to lead the Longhorns to 62 points in the paint and 22 second-chance points. Texas outrebounded the Blue Demons 45-29 for the game and scored 29 points off turnovers. The Longhorns shot 51% and held DePaul to 37% with only 13 2-point field goals. The Blue Demons shot 6-for-14 from 3-point range and 19-for-51 overall. Texas never trailed in the game and scored on almost 60% of its possessions. The Longhorns outscored DePaul 23-12 in the opening quarter and extended their lead to 43-28 by halftime.
