Someone smashed a glass door at Lou Mitchell’s on West Jackson Boulevard early Sunday morning, Chicago police said.The incident occurred at 4:31 a.m., and no injuries were reported, police said. Nothing was taken from inside. Lou Mitchell’s opened for business Sunday morning, and the broken window was boarded up. The staff member said they don’t know if the incident was captured on surveillance video, but the restaurant opened Sunday as the staff waited for the debris to be removed and the window boarded up.
