Photo by Jess Rapfogel/Getty Images Pistons continue road trip looking for second straight win The Detroit Pistons survived a scare against the two-win Toronto Raptors on Friday behind some strong defense and timely contributions from bench players like Marcus Sasser and Wendell Moore Jr. Detroit will look to handle their business a little more cleanly against the two-win Washington Wizards. The Wiz are a young, rebuilding team currently on a seven-game losing streak. The Wizards are coming home fresh off of a winless five-game road trip and hoping the confines of Capital One Arena are a bit more hospitable. The Pistons will need to rely on their defense, which currently ranks seventh in the NBA. If Detroit does manage to build and maintain a comfortable margin, it would likely mean that they hit a fair amount of their threes and that they have limited their prolific turnover issues. If the Pistons lose, it’s likely because they didn’t do any of that, and also that Jordan Poole or Kyle Kuzma went semi-nuclear.
