The Lions score has never happened before in NFL history. The Detroit Lions beat the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday and did so in a superior fashion. Then the game ended, the score was 52-6. That score had never happened before in an NFL game — WE GOT SCORIGAMI!
Usually scorigamis hit after something weird happens from a scoring standpoint. There haven’t been a ton of games in NFL history where a team scores 52 points. While a team scores 52 points, there have been games where the opponent scored 0, 3, 7, 9, 10, and 13 points. Even if the Jaguars had scored a touchdown but not completed the two-point attempt, a 52-12 game would have also been a scorigami.
According to an NFL Scorigami tracker, it’s the 1088th unique score in NFL history.

This is the fourth scorigami in the NFL just this season. On October 13th, the Lions also notched a scorigami, beating the Dallas Cowboys 47-9. On September 15th, the New Orleans Saints beat the Cowboys 44-19. The San Francisco 49ers opened the season with a 32-19 win over the New York Jets.
