Teen walks into hospital with gunshot wound in Arlington, police say

ARLINGTON, Va. (DC News Now) -- Police in Arlington are investigating after a teenage boy was shot in Green Valley on Saturday night.
According to the Arlington County Police Department (ACPD), officers were dispatched to Virginia Hospital Center just before 10 p.m. for the report of a teenage boy who walked into the hospital with a gunshot wound.
Officers determined that the shooting happened in the 3200 block of 24th St S. Police said the boy's injuries were serious but non-life-threatening.

Police said the boy was outside when two suspects approached him, and a physical altercation ensued.
During the confrontation, one of the suspects fired a gun, hitting the teen, before both suspects fled.
The investigation is ongoing.
