MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- The Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS) said crews were battling a fire at the U.S. Navy NSWC Carderock facility in Bethesda on Sunday morning. Credit: MCFRS Credit: MCFRS MCFRS spokesperson David Pazos said that at about 7:40 a.m., crews were dispatched to building 4 at the U.S. Navy Carderock facility, located in the 9500 block of Mac Arthur Boulevard, for a fire on the second floor of the building. Police investigating after deadly shooting in Prince George’s County MCFRS said responders extinguished the fire and there was no extension. No one was injured. As of Sunday morning, crews were still at the scene assisting with smoke removal.
