Saturday morning shooting leads to Topeka man arrest

TOPEKA (KSNT) - A Topeka man has been arrested following an investigation of an early morning shooting on Saturday, November 16.
Just after 2:00 a.m., officers with the Topeka Police Department (TPD) responded to a report of a shooting in the 400 block of SW Lincoln. When officers arrived, they found an individual suffering from life-threatening injuries. The person was taken to a local hospital to be treated.
According to a press release from TPD, later that day, around 5:30 p.m., William E. A. Hill, 21, of Topeka was taken into custody at the Law Enforcement Center.
Following the investigation, Hill was then taken to the Shawnee County Department of Corrections and booked with charges of Aggravated Battery.
