Watertown man critically injured, taken to Syracuse hospital after being hit by car

Watertown, N.Y. — A man was critically injured Saturday when he was hit by a car as he walked across the street in Watertown, police said.Around 5:47 p.m., officers responded to the 500 block of State Street for a traffic accident involving a car and a pedestrian, according to a news release Sunday from the Watertown Police Department.
