Get married, grab a beer at this New Orleans liquor store

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A New Orleans liquor store has opened a wedding chapel next to its beer cooler.
According to a news release, inside Chuck's on the Avenue, a wedding chapel featuring a 150-year-old-stained glass window from the Central Congregational Church, an alter from Basilica of St. Stephen Church and pews from a Luling Church can now be found near the tasting room and beer cooler.

The release states that Chuck's Chapel aims to get in on the trend of "micro weddings" and offers different theme packages, meaning you don't have to travel to Las Vegas to have an Elvis wedding.
Other themed packages are set to include Mardi Gras, Rock and Roll and Voodoo.

"People are gravitating towards the simplicity of smaller, more intimate gatherings. What we are offering isn’t for everybody, but we all know that one couple who is perfectly suited to get married between the beer cooler and champagne section," said Chuck's on the Avenue owner Charles Loescher.
In addition to themed weddings, the venue also offers options where the beer truck driver will be your witness, legal weddings, non-binding weddings, vow renewals and partner ceremonies.

Chuck's Chapel hosted a grand opening event on Saturday, Nov. 16, where a Donaldsonville couple tied the knot at a wedding officiated by Randy "Elvis" Bonnaval.
