LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) –One person has died after an overnight shooting. According to police, Officers were called to the 1500 block of North Limestone just before 9 p.m. on Saturday. Upon arrival, they found a man with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital where he later died. The Fayette County Coroner identified the man as 25 year-old Chance Gist. Police say the shooting is being investigated as a homicide. Investigators are asking anyone with information about this case to call Lexington Police at (859) 258-3600.
