CHARLOTTE (BLACK & BLUE KICKOFF LIVE) -- For the first time since the 2021 season, the Panthers have won back-to-back games. The Panthers now have two weeks to prepare for the defending Super Bowl Champions Kansas City Chiefs. If the Panthers were to name a first-half MVP, surely it would be running back Chuba Hubbard. Well deserving of his four-year contract extension, Hubbard has 818 rushing yards which is 3rd-most in the NFL. He's also coming off the best game of his career in which he had 153 rushing yards and a touchdown on 28 carries. Bryce Young has also been playing well as of late. Since taking over the starting job again in Week 8 against the Broncos, he has thrown for 521 yards and 4 touchdowns. He's been playing for his Carolina career and it's shown by leading the team to back-to-back wins. Former Detroit Lions player charged over Jan. 6 Capitol riot On the defensive side, they still need to improve. The Panthers allow 31 points per game which is the most in the NFL. It's hard to stay in games when the defense is giving up so many points and doesn't generate turnovers or force the opponent to punt. Of the seven games remaining on the schedule, four are home and three are against divisional opponents (two against the Buccaneers and an away game against the Falcons in Week 18). Of their six unique opponents, four currently have winning records. The Panthers' next game is on Sunday, Nov. 24, against the Kansas City Chiefs at 1 p.m. at Bank of America Stadium.
