Fox River State Trail to close temporarily to pedestrian traffic for repairs

DE PERE, Wis. (WFRV) - The Fox River State Trail will be closed to pedestrian traffic on Monday, November 18, 2024, for necessary repairs between Bomier Street and Cook Street in De Pere.
According to a Facebook post from Brown County Parks, due to the use of heavy equipment on the trail Fox River State Trail will be impassable during the repair work.

A brief additional closure of one to two days will follow to complete the final stages of the repairs. No marked detours will be provided, so Brown County Park encourages trail users to plan ahead and find alternative routes during this time.
Officials urge the public to respect the equipment operators and allow them to complete the repairs efficiently.
