Little hero beats cancer and rings in victory with Marinette police by his side

MARINETTE, Wis. (WFRV) - A local boy was welcomed home with his hard-earned Victory Bell, accompanied by the Peshtigo Police Department and Marinette County Sheriff's Office after a year-long battle with cancer.
According to a Facebook post from the City of Marinette Police Department, Jameo demonstrated remarkable courage, strength, and determination, ultimately triumphing over the illness. The community came together to celebrate his victory, honoring his incredible journey and resilience.

As part of the celebration, Jameo had the opportunity to check out our tactical rescue vehicle, meet Marinette PD's K-9 named Vinny, and meet some of the local heroes who supported him along the way, according to the Marinette PD post.
The Facebook post says Jameo had a chance to interact with Sergeant Greg Haemker, Officer Brad Bayerl, Officer Jim Harper, Officer Alex Wojcik, and Deputy Chad Haws, who were all thrilled to be part of his special day.
