(WFRV) - J&R Aquatic Animal Rescue (JRAAR) hosted a successful Exotic Pet Surrender Event at Barkhausen Waterfowl Preserve, rehoming 13 exotic animals, including finches, frogs, turtles, and tortoises. According to a press release, the Saturday event provided a safe, judgment-free space for pet owners to surrender exotic pets they could no longer care for.
