EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Crime Stoppers of El Paso and the El Paso Police Department are asking for your help in identifying a man who robbed two convenience stores with a gun in West El Paso and the Upper Valley back in October. The first robbery happened at 8 p.m. on Oct. 28 when the suspect walked into a Circle K store at 5665 S. Desert Blvd. at Redd Road. The suspect approached the register, threatened the clerk with a handgun and demanded money, according to Crime Stoppers. The suspect then fled the scene with an unknown amount of money, Crime Stoppers said. The next day, a similar robbery took place at 8:30 p.m. at another Circle K store, located at 6410 Doniphan at Borderland Road. According to Crime Stoppers, the suspect is described as a Hispanic male and is 5 foot, 10 inches tall with a thin build. Investigators found video of a vehicle believed to be involved in the robberies, according to Crime Stoppers.
