Crime of the Week: Man robs 2 convenience stores in West El Paso, Upper Valley

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Crime Stoppers of El Paso and the El Paso Police Department are asking for your help in identifying a man who robbed two convenience stores with a gun in West El Paso and the Upper Valley back in October.

This is this week’s featured “Crime of the Week," as publicized by Crime Stoppers of El Paso.
The first robbery happened at 8 p.m. on Oct. 28 when the suspect walked into a Circle K store at 5665 S. Desert Blvd. at Redd Road.
The suspect approached the register, threatened the clerk with a handgun and demanded money, according to Crime Stoppers.
The suspect then fled the scene with an unknown amount of money, Crime Stoppers said.
The next day, a similar robbery took place at 8:30 p.m. at another Circle K store, located at 6410 Doniphan at Borderland Road.
According to Crime Stoppers, the suspect is described as a Hispanic male and is 5 foot, 10 inches tall with a thin build.
Investigators found video of a vehicle believed to be involved in the robberies, according to Crime Stoppers.
