(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The courts at Widefield High School hosted more than just exciting volleyball action on Saturday, Nov. 16., as the "Setting the Table" Coed 6's Volleyball Tournament brought the community together, not only for high-flying sports but also to support families in need this holiday season. The tournament wasn't your typical volleyball event. Its goal was to raise money and collect food for families needing help during winter break. "So it was a super awesome turnout," said Christana Kappus, Math Teacher and Volleyball Coach at Widefield High School. "Really grateful for all the teams that come out to support it. It's also really great volleyball. They're super competitive and it's just really fun to see a part of the community come forward and be able to support our kids through the community around us."
