AUSTIN (KXAN) — The top five teams held positions in the latest Associated Press Top 25 college football rankings, released Sunday. Oregon was again a unanimous choice at No. 1 after a 16-13 win over Wisconsin, followed by Ohio State, Texas, Penn State and Indiana. Kaluma, Johnson score 18 points apiece to help Texas beat MVSU 89-43 The Longhorns topped Arkansas 20-10 in Fayetteville, marking the first win over their former Southwest Conference rivals in the past three meetings. Texas hosts Kentucky at 2:30 p.m. Saturday Texas A&M held its spot at No. 15 after a nonconference win over New Mexico State 38-3. They'll take on Auburn on Saturday in SEC play. Complete AP Top 25 Behind a 31-17 win over Tennessee, Georgia moved back inside the top 10 to No. 8 while the Volunteers fell four to No. 10. Notre Dame moved up to No. 6, Alabama moved to No. 7 and Mississippi moved to No. 9. Brigham Young fell from the ranks of the unbeaten after a 17-13 loss to Kansas and tumbled seven spots to No. 14. Washington State dropped six spots to No. 25 after a 38-35 loss to New Mexico. Louisiana State dropped out of the rankings after a 27-16 loss to Florida, the Tigers' third consecutive loss. The College Football Playoff selection committee will release a new set of rankings Tuesday.
